Frequently Asked Questions for the Suppliers Procurement Conference Asia 2007 Q: When should I arrive?
A: At least by 10:30 AM so you can register, settle in, and be familiar with where the buyers are. Q: How many buyers will be there on the day?
A: We expect 27 serious buyers from several major Virginia industries.
Q: How long are the one-to-one meetings?
A: Between 10 and 15 minutes. You will be surprised how even 15 minutes can be enough time to stimulate desire of your product/service and get an informal agreement on next course of action.
Q: Should I bring my product samples to show the buyers?
A: Yes, as long as you can carry them around with you during the day from table to table as we do not have safe storage at the venue.
Q: How many other suppliers from my sector will be attending?
A: We expect hundreds of trade and business visitors, minority suppliers to visit our impressive cadre of ProcureCon Asia 2007 buyers. We try to diversify our suppliers ‘industry sectors to avoid overloading our buyers. A wide range of suppliers will be available in most targeted industries. Show visitors will be coming from all over the Commonwealth, Maryland, DC area, and the Carolinas.
Q: When do buyers get to see what suppliers they will be meeting?
A: Buyers will be provided with a blank appointment agenda and diary prior to the event. They will make their own appointments when they see you during the trade exhibition time. These are made available to them at their buying table when they arrive.
Q: What kind of lunch will be offered?
A: It will be box lunches. Limited vegetarian lunches are available.
