About Our Suppliers
Procurecon Asia 2005 and 2006 drew attendees from as far north as Maryland, Fairfax and Loudoun Counties and as far south as the Hampton Road.
It is expected that this year event will attract double the amount and quality of attendees from similar geographical areas. A high number of companies leaders who attended our past shows have multiple post-doctorate degrees and most business executives are multi-lingual in several Asian (Korean, Vietnamese, Khmer, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Tagalog, Japanese, Hindi, and Tagalog), and Arabic, and in European (French, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian) languages, in addition to English.
Many of our suppliers have received advanced technical education in the technology, professional, scientific, education/training, engineering, and medical training from their native countries from all over Asia.
Many Asian American executives of small emerging American companies having global operations beyond the US and Canada such as in Asia ( India, Vietnam, China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Korea) and Europe (mostly Germany, Belgium, Swizerland, and France). Many are engaged in finance, education, health, real estate, information technology, media, high tech/scientific/engineering, architecture, construction, manufacturing, technology placement, and call centers.
Several of our members are ISO/Black Belt certified in their fields. Our suppliers come from R&D, environmental science, lab testing, soil lab testing, nursing, foreign languages, food, retail/wholesale, and manufacturing; management consulting, scientific consulting, and other professional services in both agricultural and non agricultural sectors. Severals also heavily engage in import-export and most are ready to develop their businesses to the next level.
